Life has changed a lot in 2026 and I actually have a fair bit more free time so get ready for plenty more content on this site. The new found free time is meaning that I can get back into gaming as I am learning to enjoy time at home and not needing to go out every weekend like I used to. Now rather than being at football all weekend or going shopping spending for the sake of it my plan is simple... get gaming and creating as I have certainly missed it.
November is more or less a month of hibernation for me as my money is going on Christmas gifts or the weather just isn't fun to be out in therefore I should be able to have plenty of time to play games and post more consistently on here. I am setting myself the target of rolling the credits on two games before the 19th of November, I am sure you can all guess why, so here are the games I am hoping to play throughout the month of November...
PlayStation
The PlayStation is our go to console so I will definitely be playing on this the most in November. I am hoping to roll credits on the 2 games on here as the backlog of PlayStation games is getting ridiculous now. So these are the PlayStation games I am hoping to play...
Life is Strange : Double Exposure
I started this in October and I am really hoping I can get time to finish it in early November as I am really enjoying playing through this. I love the Life is Strange franchise and this game is well and truly living up to expectations. This is definitely going to be my number 1 priority to play this month.
Nicktoons & The Dice of Destiny
This game has been sat of my shelf waiting to be played since Christmas last year and I think it is now time to play it. With it being quite short in length I am hoping that once Double Exposure is complete I can move onto this one and get it wrapped up and hopefully I will enjoy it as I have seen mixed reports about this one.
Ice Age Scrat's Nutty Adventure
Finally for the PlayStation I have had this one installed on the console and with it being under 4 hours long hopefully I can get it wrapped up in just a few sittings. This will just be a little bit of fun to get a game out of the backlog before I start a newer bigger game I hope, so we will see how this one goes. Hopefully I fly through it and enjoy it.
XBOX
I am really trying to mix up what I am playing and I am determined that in November I am going to be playing on the XBOX a whole lot more as I honestly couldn't tell you the last time I picked up an XBOX controller, it has really been that long. So here is what I am hoping to play on the XBOX this month...
Halo 5
This is the last game I played on the XBOX and I think I am about 30 minutes into this so I want to make a good amount of progress through this. I need to clear up a lot of space on the XBOX for other games to be installed so I am hoping I can get close to completing this and can get it uninstalled sooner rather than later. I am hoping I can get into this as I struggled last time around, let's see if the gaming break has done me any favours.
Nintendo Switch
I couldn't tell you the last time I picked up the Switch 2 or my Switch Lite, it just hasn't been appealing to me lately however, I am planning on getting back into Switch gaming rather than doom scrolling as it is going to be a good way to stop the boredom. So here is what I am hoping to play on the Switch this month...
Mario Kart Worlds
This game has been on the Switch 2 since we bought it and I still haven't played it. I used to love just switching off on an evening playing on Mario Kart so I think I might need to start doing this once more. Rather than scrolling social media I could just pick up the switch do a few races and switch off for the night.
Disney Dreamlight Valley
This is another game I have installed and not played a second of however, that is about to change. I love Disney and I feel like I have really been missing out not playing this so throughout November I will be putting time into this game and hopefully enjoying it as much as people have told me I will. I just hope I don't get hooked on it and neglect other games which is what happened when I started playing Animal Crossing back in the day.
A Short Hike
This is going to be a super quick game to roll the credits on so I think it is time to just sit down and get on with it. This should be easily done in 1 sitting but I guess we will see how it goes. I have high expectations for this though as it was highly recommended and it should be a good way to get back to PC gaming once more.
So there you have it those are the games I am hoping to play throughout November as I say I am trying to get as many completed as possible by the 19th of November for one specific reason... I am going to be picking up the long awaited GTA 6 and I will be making that a priority to play due to how long I have waited to play it.
Now let's just see how a month of gaming throughout November goes, check back at the end of the month to see what I actually played.
