The Lego sets I would love to buy

All of a sudden my love for Lego has returned and since my birthday in 2023 I have picked up a fair few sets. Since getting those sets though I constantly find myself shopping around for bits to add to the collection and let's just say I am very impressed with a lot of sets and I just wish they weren't as expensive as they are. Plus with some of the sets I really like I would need a lot more space than I currently have to be able to display them if I did purchase them. That being said though I am loving a lot of different sets that are available right now and if money was no object here are the sets I would love to pick up...

There are a few themes/franchises I would love to pick up but then there are also some random sets so here are those bits broken down too...

The random sets

Icons of Play

Anyone who knows me knows just how much I love women's football so this set would be perfect for me especially with how the Lego would all be displayed in my home office which has a huge football theme. Seeing the women's game finally getting the recognition it deserves is fantastic and I just hope I can add this to my collection some day.

Stitch

Stitch is a bit of an icon in our house and each room has something Stitch related in it so there is no surprise really that the Stitch Lego has made it onto this list. I love how it is just the right size and you can even move its ears. This really is the perfect display piece for any Stitch fans and let's hope it is in my collection sooner rather than later.

Avengers Tower

Now if space was no issue and neither was money this would be one of the first purchases off the list for me however, at £430 this is definitely out of my price range at the moment plus the little issue of how big it is also has it towards the bottom of the most likely to pick up on the wish list. This tower just looks amazing though and I am really hoping one day I have some space so I can pick it up.

The Spider-Man sets

Spider-Mans mask

In our games room we have a Spider-Man shelf, literally all it has on it is Spider-Man related goodies so this mask could be the perfect addition to the little space we have left on that shelf. This mask is actually a pretty reasonable price and looks great once built. I can definitely see this being one of the first sets to purchase.

Daily Bugle

Now I will be honest with you this get has actually been on my wish list for that long it is actually from before I got my sets for my birthday. The Daily Bugle set just looks absolutely amazing and compared to the Avenger Tower it is not actually that bad in price. This definitely wouldn't fit on the Spider-Man shelf however, it could look great in the home office when it is done.

Harry Potter sets

Gringotts Wizarding Bank

At £370 this is another expensive set however, it looks absolutely fantastic. Again though it is a bigger set so space could be an issue if I was to ever get this set. The detail is absolutely amazing though and it really highlights moments from the film with the layout and figures that come with the set. If this dropped in price it could definitely be a purchase for myself.

Harry Potter Castle

I actually don't want the bigger version of the castle like most people would, I only want the smaller, cheaper model that they do. Again this is mainly due to the size of the bigger castle and this smaller one would fit perfectly in the home office on the dedicated Lego shelf. If I could only buy 1 Harry Potter set ever I think it would easily be this one.

So there you have it those are the Lego sets that I would love to pick up, who knows I might end up with a few as the year goes on but I guess we will have to wait and see which ones. If I do buy any though I will be sure to post them on social media so keep an eye on there to see if I do end up getting any.

For now though I guess I had best start building those sets I already own, but maybe that will wait until the spare room is done and I have my Lego shelf...

See you soon,
