What we are playing (6th June 2025)

It is our first weekend without football and although we have a fair few jobs to do post decorating around the house we are also looking forward to sitting down and playing some games. The plan for the weekend is to get all our jobs done Friday night and by Saturday lunch time so that the rest of our weekend is spent relaxing. So here is what we are hoping to play this weekend...

Lucy

I think I have the most jobs to do this weekend and I am really not looking forward to any of them as they are boring jobs I have just previously put off. The plan though is to do all those boring jobs as quick as possible and then spend some time sorting out the games room, a job I have wanted to do for a while now but just haven't really had the time to do so. The plan is to rearrange some bits in this room, declutter and plan how we can change things in the long run as I am getting sick of my tiny PC corner. Once all that is done though it is time for gaming and content creating. I am determined to get ahead of myself in terms of blog and Instagram content whilst also spending time playing games at long last. I am hoping to make a start on the two games I was sent for review, one of these is The Precinct for the PS5 which I am hoping I can get a good few hours into and the other is Forgotten Fields on the Switch which I am hoping to fly through so I can get a review up next week but we shall see on that one. I am also planning on buying Minecraft for the PC again this weekend so let's see if I can get that installed and get lost in the world of Minecraft once more.

Liam 

I am hoping by the time I finish work on Friday & Saturday Lucy will be almost done with her jobs so there isn't too much for me to do other than sort my stuff out and help with the games room. The plan for me this weekend is for me to make some more progress through my Football Manager save however, I think that most of my time is going to be spent playing through more of Star Wars the Old Republic as I have got right back into that recently. 

So there you have it those are the games we are hoping to play this weekend, let's hope everything goes to plan and by the end of Sunday we have a house that doesn't look like a building site anymore and that the games room finally becomes a space we want to relax in against once more.
