The plan to start the challenge is to work my way through Let's Go Pikachu which is already loaded onto my Switch, this will be a brand new play through as it has been so long since I picked this game up and I have forgotten where I am up to with it. Once this is done I am going to be moving onto the other Switch Pokemon games I own already and try get them all ticked off from the challenge nice and early on before moving onto games on the older systems. I do have the new game on pre-order too so that will be bumped to the top of the to play list when it arrives.
As I am working through the challenge the plan is to try buy a game every month or so, luckily some of the spin off games for the WII etc are at more reasonable prices than the Gameboy ones so I think I will get the cheaper ones purchased before saving up for those bigger games that are going to cost me a fortune and make completing the challenge nice and expensive.
To keep an eye on the progress I am making I am planning on creating a bit of a tracker which will show a list of all the games possible, the games I have got, my progress through each of the games, when it is complete and even how much it cost me. I think this will just be a fun way of seeing how I am getting on and just how much it is going to cost overall. Anyone knows me knows I am a bit of a spreadsheet geek so this is going to be just as fun as working through the actual games for me.
As I say I am expecting this to be a very expensive challenge but I am actually looking forward to working my way through it, no doubt it is going to take a long time to complete but I guess that makes it a bit more fun too and I suppose gives me plenty of content for here and social media which is certainly an added bonus.
Keep an eye on our social media where we will be sharing our progress a bit more often than on here and even doing polls for you to help us pick which game we should play next. We will also be sharing what games we pick up for this challenge over there too.
Now let's get started and see how many games we can get through before the end of the year...
See you soon
