How are we in October already? This year is flying by but I can't really complain as this time of the year is the best time of the year in terms of gaming for me as the cold, dark nights mean less post work trips out and cosier weekends when the football gets cancelled due to the weather. There is nothing better than snuggling under a blanket and picking up a controller at this time of year and I am very hopeful that this month is going to be a game filled month. So here are the games I am hoping to play throughout October...
PS5
The PS5 is by far my most played console still and I can't see that changing anytime soon as a lot of games I am wanting to work through this month are already on this console. The PS5 games I am hoping to play are...
FC26
We actually got this game on release day and somehow I just haven't found the time to play it just yet however, that is certainly going to change this month. I might actually give manager mode a try this season and see what I can do for Man City Women however, we all know that 99% of my time on here is going to be spent on Ultimate Team where I once again plan to create my best team without spending any real money on the game, maybe I will actually document this challenge this time around.
Coffee Talk
This game is going to be the quickest game I play this month as it is very close to being complete already. The plan is to get this one ticked off the list nice and early on in the month as there is less than an hour left to play. I will be honest though I don't really want this one to end as I have really enjoyed it.
The Plucky Squire
I started this game in the summer but unfortunately I didn't get as far through it as I would have liked due to how busy summer was. I am hoping that I can get through a fair bit of this game in October if not complete it. This is different to what I would usually play but it is super enjoyable.
Lost Records
I was hoping to get through this game when it was originally released but that didn't work out and it has just sat installed on the PS5 since. I have heard good things about this game and it seems like it will be right up might street due to the other sort of games I like to play. I am hoping I can make some very good progress through this game over the next few weeks.
XBOX
You have just seen how many games I am planning on playing on the PS5 and well let's just say there are nowhere near as many on the XBOX. This console is still massively neglected however, I really want to change that and here is what I am hoping to play on the console this month...
Halo 5
I keep putting off playing this as I tend to pick the PS5 controller up more often however, I am determined to make my way through more of this game in October as I have really enjoyed what I have played so far. I am so determined to make a big dent in this game so let's see if this goes to plan or not.
Nintendo Switch
We finally have the Switch 2 although I haven't managed to play on it much at the moment due to lack of time. That is changing this month though and I will be playing plenty on this console and here is what I am hoping to play...
Mario Kart World
This is loaded on the Switch and ready to be played and I can't wait. I think my last Mario Kart game was Mario Kart 7 so it has been a long time away from this however, from what I have seen World looks absolutely fantastic and I can see myself getting hooked so let's see how it goes.
Pokemon ZA
I can't remember the last time I pre-ordered a game however, as soon as Pokemon ZA was announced the order was made and as soon as this lands I will be diving straight into the world of Pokemon and who knows when this will stop being the only game I play. The only problem will be fighting Liam over who is playing it and when as we are sharing the Switch 2 currently.
Super Mario Galaxy
I was only planning on purchasing Pokemon this month however, I am now going to be picking up Super Mario Galaxy as the more I have seen of the game I the more I am itching to play it. This is going to be an early in the month pick up I think so I can play through a fair bit of it before Pokemon arrives but we shall see how it goes for this game.
