This year has flown by, this time last year me and Liam said we were hoping to have made a start on finding a house and saving up for it, but we have lived in our own home for 8 months, which still hasn't really sunk in. With the move some things had to take a backseat but we are slowly getting there, things are slowly falling into place and most rooms are almost complete. Looking around the house and seeing how well we are doing with it really gives me a sense of accomplishment even though nothing else has really happened throughout the year. Now things are settling down it got me thinking in these last few months what do I want to get done and here is what I came up with.
Finish the games room
It was one of the first rooms we started and is probably the most used room in the house, so I wanted it to look great. It is coming along nicely and with the recent edition of the shelves we are even closer to finishing. Some bits need repainting and other stuff just needs moving around, cables need to be managed but that is about it. The radiator will need replacing at some point but for now it is still doing its job. I am hoping that my next update post on here for the games room is the last. Hopefully it will come before Christmas too.
Make a start on creating perfect PC setup
So I got my new PC, which is spot on but now I want to improve the rest of my set up. I am hoping to make a start on this soon by managing cables and putting some LED lights on the desk. I then want to start looking into a new mouse mat, gaming mouse, keyboard and monitor. This might be lengthy but I can always make a start. It will be my own perfect little corner once it is done.
Get one step closer to streaming
With addition of the PC I am already a step closer, however there is still a bit I want to do, including gaining that little more confidence I am always worried about if people would actually want to watch or not as I aren't very good at most games, I just wing it 99% of the time. I am also still seeing if I want to use OBS or not, I just generally need to look into it.
Get a few more game reviews up
I have 3 games that I have been sent to review but haven't got around to doing them just yet as gaming time has been majorly cut back to fit in all the work in the house. Now things are settling though I am hoping I can get all 3 of these up before the end of the year. I also have quite a few other ideas lined up for game reviews I want to do.
Update the blog more
Again now I have a bit more time on my hands I am hoping to get quite a bit more up on the blog, whether it be games, music, tech or lifestyle I have had so many ideas I have been pushing to one side so it will be nice to actually get them uploaded onto here. I want to start adding more of a variety of games and tech and step out of my comfort zone by trying new things so I will be getting plenty to write about with that too.
So there you have it that is what I am hoping to do by the end of the year. Do you have any goals you are aiming for? I am hoping that by writing them down on here I will actually stick to them.
