August 2019 Favourites

Well August has been and gone and the month seemed to totally fly by. I don't know if it was because we had so much to do and the football season was back or if I am just excited for my birthday this month so it passed quicker. But either way it was a pretty good month and here are some of my favourite things.

Film / TV
I fell back in love with the film Alex & Me last month, my laptop finally let me play it again and I had actually forgot just how much I loved it. The film is super cheesy as it follows a younger footballer (soccer player) who hits her head and begins to see Alex Morgan who then starts training her. The reason I love it is just down to it revolving around one of my favourite USWNT players but if you love football (soccer) be sure to give it a watch it may just surprise you. In terms of TV though I didn't watch much but I did carry on watching Orange Is The New Black which I am almost finished with and that is definitely on my favourites list as it has been a pretty good series, definitely better than the previous.

Music
Tegan and Sara may have brought out I'll be back someday out in July but throughout August this was on repeat as I am just loving it. I can't wait for the album to come out in September as I really have missed hearing new music from them. Taylor Swift brought her new album Lover out in August and alongside Tegan and Sara this is all that I have listened to. The album is absolutely brilliant I think London Boy could easily be my favourite song on the whole album it is just so catchy.

Tech
There isn't many tech favourites this month as I haven't really been testing anything or using anything however, one favourite definitely has to be my Mophie wireless charging base, this is back at the side of my PC on my desk and it has been brilliant for just throwing my phone on to get it charged up a little after work whilst I am doing some blogging/work on my PC or just before I head out somewhere. I think I just forgot how handy having this could be.

Gaming
With the month being so busy I didn't get much chance to play any games but I did manage to sneak in a few races on Crash Team Racing but most importantly I managed to get back into Disneyland Adventures on the Xbox, yes I know it is a kids game but as a massive Disney geek this game has been the perfect time filler for me. I still have a long way to go to complete it but I am having fun.

So there you have it those are my favourites from August what were you loving throughout the month?

See you soon,
