January 2022 Favourites

How are we at the end of January already? The first month of 2022 has certainly flown by which makes a nice change as normally January feels like the longest month ever but I have enjoyed how 2022 has started and the direction it is already going in. This January has been a bit more of a relaxed start to the year which is why I think I enjoyed it a lot more than usual but the slow start to the year has finally given me the chance to switch off and relax and take time on other things rather than just working, working, working and not switching off. It has also meant time to discover new favourite things and rediscover old favourites. So here are my favourite things from the first month of 2022...

Film & TV

Greys Anatomy

It looks like there isn't much change from 2021 here as once again Grey's Anatomy makes it onto the favourites list. I am still absolutely in love this show and I am almost caught up on all the episodes that are on Disney + so I don't know what I am going to do when I do eventually get caught up. The show just seems to have me gripped which hasn't happened to me in a very long time, it is great seeing how the characters are progressing throughout each season.

Spider-Man No Way Home

Finally we managed to get to see the latest Spider-Man film and I can't believe it took us so long to get there. The film was absolutely amazing and honestly I have to say that it is probably up there as one of my favourite Spider-Man films. As it has been noted on here a few times Spider-Man is one of my all time favourites so there was never a doubt about us finally getting to the cinema for the first time in a very long time to see the film.

Music

Lauren Jauregui

Lauren Jauregui seems to be becoming a regular on these lists just like Grey's Anatomy but I am hooked on her music and can't stop listening to it. Lauren's music is absolutely brilliant and it is such easy listening that I can very easily get lost in listening to it. I am mainly listening to her Prelude album which is definitely some of her best work however, I do have a mix of some of her older work including her time in Fifth Harmony on repeat too but Prelude is just amazing.

Tech

Macbook

It might have been a more relaxing start to the year but the blogging hasn't stopped, I have just dedicated time to it rather than doing it 24/7. The Macbook has come into play a lot of times with me working on content on my lunch breaks and on some evenings, it is still holding up really well and I am managing to get so much done on the device which is really helping me have that bit of extra time free rather than been glued to the screen like previous.

Xbox Series X

For once I have spent more time on the Xbox Series X than the PS5 which is usually unheard of in this house but I am absolutely loving it. I have played a lot on the Xbox Series X and the new games I picked up are also for the console due to how much I am enjoying it. The controller is easy to hold & I can get lost in games for hours without my hands starting to hurt which is great. I am sure this console will be featured on here plenty more times in the future too.

Gaming

Tell Me Why

I actually managed to complete a game in January which really surprised me as it took me a while to complete my first of the year in 2021. The game I finished was Tell Me Why which was an absolutely fantastic game to play. It is so much like Life is Strange and I think that is why I loved it so much. I love these types of games and I got lost in the story and couldn't wait to make progress to see how it ended. It is the longest gaming session I have had in a long time too as I was so gripped.

So there you have it those are my favourite things from the month of January. What have you been loving throughout the month?
