Right it is now time to start making some time for myself of an evening, I have said it before and I will say it again I just don't need to be 100 mph all the time. The plan now is to make a few nights a week where I just sit and get lost in a game rather than trying to be super productive 24/7. I know already this year that this time to switch off is going to be essential in me keeping my sanity and it just seems right to be making these changes now. My football season is coming to an end meaning that I will be having a bit more time freed up, then the football I watch will be wrapping up soon too freeing up even more time throughout the weeks. The plan for March is to actually free up 2 to 3 nights a week and get through a few of the games I have just sitting around. There has so far been no progress within the backlog challenge or my Pokemon challenge so March is going to be the month when I change that and roll the credits on a good number of games. In this post we will take a look at the games I am hoping to play throughout the month and hopefully by the end of March I will be writing about how many of these I completed. So here is what I am hoping to play throughout March...
Games on the PS5
Hogwarts Legacy
This game is on my backlog challenge and to be honest I started it just over a year ago. I am determined to make some progress through this in March though as from what I remember I was really enjoying playing this game. I know I have a fair bit to do in this game and to be honest I don't see me completing it in March but any progress is a step in the right direction.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure
I am currently playing through this with Liam and I would love if we could roll the credits on this one in March. We are very slowly working our way through this at any given chance and are actually enjoying playing this together which is rare as one of us normally gets stressed out with the other. Once this is wrapped up though we can start on our next co-op game.
Lost Records : Bloom & Rage Tape One
This game was installed on the PS5 on it's release day however, I just haven't got around to playing it yet. I have heard good things about this game though and honestly I am looking forward to just having a week or so to work my way through the first episode to experience the game for myself. I think I could easily get hooked on this one but we shall see.
XBOX
Halo 5
This is another game on my backlog list and I am determined to roll the credits on this one. It is likely to be much quicker to wrap up than Hogwarts Legacy and to be honest I am really looking forward to playing this as again I have heard good things about it and it is finally time for me to stop delaying my play through. It is probably going to be the most stressful game I play but I guess time will tell how much I like it or don't.
Disneyland Adventures
Now I started this game absolutely ages ago but it got cast to one side like many other games. The plan in March is to jump back into this when I have a spare half an hour and just try chip away at completing it. This game is actually longer than you think but it is great for just relaxing with and jumping in and out of.
Nintendo Switch
Super Mario 3D World
This is the game that the name generator picked for me to kick off my Switch backlog challenge so again it is about time I worked my way through it. I will mainly be chipping away at this whilst lounging on the sofa or in bed however, I am hopeful that I should be able to wrap this up at long last as it seems to have been sat on my Switch for ages now.
Let's Go Pikachu
I will definitely be getting my Pokemon challenge underway and the plan is to kick start this by making my way through Let's Go Pikachu a game I got when I got the Switch originally but haven't really put any time into it yet. I know that with all the other games I am hoping to get through it is unlikely I will be completing this in March but I am hoping I can make some good progress through it.
PC / Steamdeck
Sakura Spirit
My Steam library needs to see some of the gaming action and I am going to try get Sakura Spirit ticked off my Steam backlog list throughout March. This game is only a short one compared to the other games so let's hope by the end of March I am saying I have completed it at long last.
Scribblenauts Unlimited
This is another game that I bought ages ago but haven't got around to completing just yet. I am thinking that this can be installed on my gaming PC and I can work my way through it whilst I have YouTube videos on the opposite screen. This game will be perfect to relax with as it shouldn't be too demanding at all.
Game Dev Tycoon
Game Dev Tycoon is one of the first games I got on Steam all those years ago however, I never actually put any time into it. Again this game shouldn't be too demanding for me and could be the one I move onto once Scribblenauts is all wrapped up.
There are a fair few games on this list that I am hoping to play and I can see it being a month of jumping in and out of different games to keep things interesting. I am hoping to get at least 3 of these wrapped up through the month, which 3 it will be who knows, but I know I do need to try make a start on the Steam library as I want to make a bit of a point to myself that I will actually play games on the PC making an upgrade in the future worth it.
For now though lets get working through some of these so that March gaming wrap up is a decent one and not just a few lines of how games weren't played.
What are you playing in March?
See you soon,
