I have seen a lot of people on Twitter and Facebook saying that January has dragged on for them but honestly for me it has flown by. I feel like so much has happened and it has been a great start to the year.
It started with me and Liam putting in an offer for a house which was accepted so the month has been filled with mortgage and solicitor talk and furniture shopping. I will be so glad once we are in and settled. The football hasn't treated us too well with Bradford been on a huge loosing streak, but it is still great getting to spend that time at games with Liam and my mum. So here are a few of my favourites this month.
Gaming
In any spare time I have had this month I have been playing my games on either the laptop or Xbox. I have played through some more of South Park the fractured but whole, but most of the month has been spent on Fifa building up my perfect team on manager mode. I have neglected the women's game a bit but I am sure I will be back on that soon. On the laptop I have found myself playing a bit of Minecraft again and I had forgotten how much I loved it. I finally completed episode 2 of Life is Strange before the storm and all I can say is wow, that episode was absolutely brilliant I need to get started on episode 3 soon.
Lifestyle
There is nothing more perfectly lately than been tucked up in bed gaming on my laptop at Liam's whilst he is sat playing on his PC. But to top this off I have discovered my new favourite drink Crooked alcoholic soda. I have tried the blood orange one and the lime one they are gorgeous. I think I may need a cupboard full of this when we move.
Film / TV
I finally managed to go see The Greatest Showman this month and I am so glad that I did. The film was absolutely amazing, Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron were brilliant. I have also started watching Supergirl thanks to signing up to Now TV again, I am still on the first season but I can't believe I put off watching the show for so long.
WWE kicked of the road to Wrestlemania with the Royal Rumble which included the first ever women's match, if you like our wrestling I would seriously recommend heading over and giving it a watch it was great to see the Bella twins back along with Lita.
Now it is technically not film or TV but I have fallen back in love with iJustine again over on YouTube, I have lost count of how many videos I have watched on her channel through the month and I have seen some great products on there that I want to give a go myself.
Music
Finally Camila Cabello has released her album. Since I bought the album I have had it on everyday. I won't say too much on this as I will have a review up soon but 2 of my favourites are never be the same and all these years.
I fell in love with G-Eazy and Halsey's song him and I this month too. I have been a huge Halsey fan for a long time now and her vocals on this track are absolutely amazing, I am loving their live versions of this too.
As I said in the film and TV section I saw The Greatest Showman this month and since I saw it the soundtrack has been played every day. I forgot how much I loved Zac Efron and his singing. I would have to say the other side is my favourite.
Tech
I have only really had one tech favourite this month and that has been my iPad. I got the iPad in 2013 and it really has seen better days now, it's corners of the screen are smashed and it just won't update however it is still perfect for when I want to just quickly check Twitter or Facebook or when I am wanting to play games on my TV but watch something else on YouTube or Twitch at the same time. Although it is still doing its job I think I will be either treating myself to an iPad Pro, but in the meantime I am saving to get my old Microsoft Surface updated so who knows if that is good enough I may just stick to Microsoft in the future.
