I have still been quite good when it comes to buying games as I am trying to work through my backlog rather than buying new and adding to the large selection of un-played games I already own. Due to this I haven't actually played half as many new games as I would have liked and I haven't really used the PS5 to its full potential yet as I am still mainly playing PS4 games at the moment. I am trying to mix a few PS5 games into the mix though and have a small selection of those that I am adding to as and when I can buy games. I have decided I am not buying games for the sake of it anymore and am only going to buy games I am really interested in rather than just following the hype. So here are the PS5 games that are currently on my wish list...
Hogwarts Legacy
Harry Potter is a franchise I have absolutely loved since I was very young and have never got fed up of so when I saw this game announced it was safe to say I was excited. I have loved the Harry Potter books, merchandise, films and games in the past so I have high hopes for this one. It has been a long time since we have had a good Harry Potter themed game so fingers crossed this one ticks all the boxes. I am really looking forward to exploring Hogwarts for myself and hopefully spending hours enjoying this game.
Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
I absolutely love the Lego games and I love anything Star Wars so this is a bit of a no brainer that it was going to be on the list. Star Wars is just one of those things I never get bored of and I can see me really enjoying playing through this game. As I said before I really like the Lego games as they are a bit more relaxed than other games I play so after those long days at work this will be the perfect game to switch off with. plus I get to see my favourite Star Wars characters in Lego form once again.
Guardians of the Galaxy
I am really hoping for good things from this Guardians of the Galaxy games but due to me loving the Marvel Universe I will be picking this up to give it a try no matter what others are saying about it. There is something about the Guardians of the Galaxy films that make them some of my favourites in the Marvel universe so I am hoping this game captures the humour of the characters well and provides some very enjoyable game play.
Nickelodeon All Star Brawl
Suicide Squad
Just like with the Marvel games I also love anything DC related and I especially really like the Suicide Squad these days so when this game was announced it was added straight to my wish list for the PS5. I aren't getting my hopes up too high with this one but I will definitely be picking it up again it might be a sale buy but I will certainly be buying it and playing through it to roll the credits. Fingers crossed this game turns out good.
Ratchet & Clank
Ratchet & Clank is a game franchise I never really bothered with in the past however, for some reason Rift apart is really grabbing my attention and I am wanting to play it. This game looks absolutely amazing and looks like it is going to be really fun to play through so fingers crossed I can pick this game up soon and fall in love with the game like others have. I think I might go back and give a few other Ratchet & Clank games a go too as they all look pretty good.
Sackboy A Big Adventure
I used to absolutely love playing the Little Big Planet games although I never actually managed to complete a single one as my attention always drifted elsewhere. There is something about these games I just love so there is no doubt in my mind that I will be playing Sackboy A Big Adventure sometime soon. I think this could be a very good game for me and Liam to play together so fingers crossed we get to give it a go sometime soon. I can see this being very fun and a game that is a nice change of pace.
Fingers crossed I can power on through my backlog and be able to buy some of these very soon especially those that are already released as I have heard some very good things about them. I am really looking forward to seeing what other games do come to the PS5 in the future as I think there is a lot of potential for brilliant games on the platform. Who knows I might end up getting some of these games for my birthday or Christmas just to get around the backlog rules a bit so I can experience them sooner. What is on your PS5 game wish list?
