May 2022 Favourites

How are we through May already? This year is definitely going by far too fast for my liking. May has been a pretty good month as it has been at a much slower pace than previous months this year, with the football ending we have had much more free time to get on with other things we have wanted to do and honestly I just feel so much better for the change of pace. The month has been a great month overall and honestly I think from now on they are just going to get better too with quite a few fun things lined up. Here are my favourite things from the month of May though...

Film & TV

Sneakerella

I had seen this film advertised a few times on YouTube but wasn't to sure about if I was going to bother watching it or not as it did look a little bit too childish for my liking. I ended up giving it a go though and was hooked all the way through. It is a take on Cinderella but follows a sneaker designer who's dreams don't get taken seriously. As someone who absolutely loves sneakers this film was perfect for me and I don't think I will just stick to watching it once, it is a film I could easily watch over and over again.

Music

N-Dubz

My childhood is going to be relived in November and I really can't wait. I was so glad when N-Dubz announced they were reuniting and there was no way I was going to miss out on tickets so we ended up purchasing them through the pre-sale. Since they announced the reunion though I have had their music on shuffle through Spotify and remembered just why I loved them so much growing up. Isn't it funny how you can remember songs word for word.

Tech

Ring Light

I am so glad I took the plunge and picked myself a ring light up. This has helped me get some much better lighting for my pictures for the blog and honestly it is worth every penny I have spent on it. I am even considering picking up a second one just so I can work on a lighting balance and make the images even better. The office area is certainly coming along nicely and has become a very useful place for my content creation.

Gaming

Last of Us

Oh look two months running for Last of Us being in my favourites post, this is because as usual it is taking me far too long to complete a game. I might have more free time but the unfinished games room means screen glare has been an issue for playing on the consoles. I have absolutely loved every second of the game so far though and I actually love picking up the controller once again which if you read last months post has been a bit of a struggle in recent times as I struggled to find a game to settle on. I just can't believe it has taken me so long to get around to playing this.

So there you have it those are my favourite things from the month of May. What have you been loving throughout the month?
