My 2022 Favourites

I can't believe we are already at the end of 2022, it doesn't feel like two minutes ago it was just starting and here we are wrapping up the year and counting down to the start of 2023. To be honest 2022 has been a bit of a crazy year with some lows but a lot of highs, I have taken my weight loss journey a lot more serious and I had the best summer of my life watching history be made in the women's football which you all know I am super passionate about however, it has meant that gaming time has been in short supply and to be honest i haven't gamed half as much as I would have liked to, I have had some favourites throughout the year though and  here is what made the cut for my overall favourites of 2022...

Film & TV

Blue Bloods

I think it is safe to say that Blue Bloods is a firm favourite from the year as for months it is all that I watched. It started with clips on Facebook and it ended up with me binge watching all the episodes on Paramount+. I just couldn't get enough of the show and I would watch it if I had a spare minute or if I was sat downstairs working on blog content, basically if the TV was on and I had the remote you bet Blue Bloods was playing. I wonder what show will consume my time in 2023?

Music

Tegan & Sara

Tegan and Sara brought their latest album out in the back end of the year and since then it has been on repeat, I have absolutely loved every song on the album and even after so many times on repeat I have not got sick of it and to be honest I am not sure I ever will. Even when I have just been blogging the album has been on in the background and I have watched the music videos a fair few times too. Now I just need them to announce a UK tour.

Tech

Macbook

The Macbook has once again become a lifesaver. 2022 has been a very busy year and with me going back to playing football free time just doesn't exist these days so I need to get things done as soon as a spare 5 minutes open up. This is why the Macbook has become a favourite, I can put it in my bag and take it to work for my lunch break which is super helpful for staying on top of things or I can sit down in the living room with it to live tweet games, work on reports whilst watching the game and to be honest once again the device has just helped me stay super productive. I am sure there will be even more use for the Macbook in 2023 if all goes to plan.

Gaming

FIFA 23

As I said earlier gaming has been in short supply this year due to other commitments and at times just not being in the right head space to sit and focus on a game. When I have gamed though it has been in the back end of the year and I have played FIFA 23. This game is just really easy to jump in and out of so if I only have half an hour to game it has been the perfect option. It also has one of my favourite leagues in now... the WSL so I can play as some of my favourite women's teams and guide them to the top of the league. I am sure I will be playing a lot more of this in 2023 too.

So there you have it those are my favourite things from the year, I am determined to have a much better year gaming wise in 2023 as I have been really slacking in 2022 due to prioritizing other areas of life however, I need to learn to balance my time much better across the websites and with making sure I have free time too. Let's see what 2023 has in store for me and the website.

What is one of your favourite things from 2023?
