Right here we go 2025 the year of TNG Games as we get things back on track and start creating the content we really want to without burn out and motivation holding us back. 2024 was an absolute right of and burn out stopped the gaming for a long period of time which also stopped the content as you can't post about games if you don't play them can you? Getting back to creating content is a big priority in 2025 so I am pleased to say that TNG Games is back and hopefully is going to be better than ever going forward with plenty of posts on the site and plenty of posts on social media again at long last. There is plenty in the pipeline for the year so more on those another day as today we are taking a look at our goals for the year which are going to be a nice mix...
Gaming
In terms of gaming I have a few goals that I want to tick off through the course of 2025 but I am not setting myself too many goals as I just want to get back into the swing of things and start to enjoy games once more. So here are my gaming goals for 2025...
Save for a new gaming PC
I am currently sitting on a huge Steam library as my current PC will not run 90% of the games I have bought. The plan though is to save up over the course of the year and hopefully not too far into it finally get a brand new gaming PC that is more than capable of running even the newest games. We are even considering giving a self build a go but I guess only time will tell if this happens or not. A new gaming PC would be absolutely fantastic though and would mean I can get working through that Steam library.
Complete plenty of the backlog
There will be more on this in tomorrows post which is solely dedicated to the 2025 backlog challenge. The backlog challenge is under a different format for 2025 though and I am hoping that it is going to help me tick off more games from the backlog at long last as the number in it is currently ridiculous and needs massively reducing.
Play loads more games
2024 was a write off for gaming but I am hoping to change that in 2025 and really get through some of the backlog and any other games I might pick up through the year. The plan is to block out some free time each week and especially on weekends to just sit down and power on through some games and get lost in different worlds.
Technology
Technology will be getting added to the site once again as I used to love writing about this and I feel I can add it into social media a lot more too. So here are the tech related goals for 2025...
Do more tech reviews
I used to love doing my little tech reviews on here so I think it is time to bring them back at long last. There are plans to pick up a few new tech pieces throughout the year which gives me the prime opportunity to add the tech back to the site and even on social media. If there is anything specific you would like to see make sure to let me know.
Get a new iPad at last
This one has been on the list for far too long now but a big goal for 2025 is to get a new iPad, one that is compatible with the Apple pencil so I can get back to digital drawings. I will be doing my research to make sure I am picking up the right one for me and I am looking forward to finally owning a fast, enjoyable iPad once again.
Content
Now these goals are going to be a big focus throughout the year for me as I really want to see some growth in 2025 on my social medias and the blogs. So here are those content related goals for the year...
Post on the blog a minimum of 3 times a week
The blog was seriously lacking new content in 2024 but in 2025 I am aiming for a minimum of 3 posts a week with a mix of gaming and technology posts. It might be opinion pieces, wish lists, hauls or different topics but there will definitely be 3 posts a week.
Mix up gaming and tech content on social media
I want to make sure that I am mixing up adding both gaming and tech on my social media, granted one week maybe solid gaming content however, I really want to make sure I am adding in plenty of tech throughout each month though just to break it up a little bit.
Be consistent on TikTok
I am determined to show up on social media more often in 2025 in particular TikTok. There is so much potential for the content I have in mind so it is about time I started to utilize it a whole lot more. The aim is 3 TikTok's a week which if I stick to my new routine I should be more than capable of doing.
Be consistent on Instagram
I want to be posting on Instagram a total of 5 times a week as a minimum throughout 2025 as I seriously neglected it in 2024. I have already started planning the content I will be posting for January and I am sure that I will have plenty more ideas to go throughout the year, I am just really looking forward to being back posting and interacting with others again.
Start pitching to companies
As I get more consistent with posting on social media and the website I am going to start stepping out of my comfort zone and start pitching to companies to collaborate with them throughout 2025. I want to make sure I am creating the best content I can before doing this but the aim in 2025 is to start pitching and hopefully start collaborating.

There are a few other goals I want to hit throughout 2025 that are a bit more on the random side and those are...
Fully complete the home office
We redid the home office in May 2024 and we still haven't fully completed it. To be honest this room just needs a declutter and things hanging on the wall with a bit of organisation needing to take place. I just want to be able to go in this room and enjoy my time in there feeling relaxed and being productive and getting it complete will definitely help with that.
Redo the console side of the games room
The console side of the games room is a real mess right now so the goal is to get this reorganized throughout 2025, the area needs a general tidy with things removing that don't belong there, old consoles need bringing back out so we can enjoy them again and art work needs putting up to make the are look a little less boring. There may even be some more lights being added to this area too. Once this area is sorted I think it is going to make it a bit more of a relaxing area to be in.
Redo the PC set up
My PC set up is a current mess and I don't enjoy spending time at it at all. I want to start using this area more often for creating content so I need to make it a cozier, more inviting space where I am happy to spend hours especially if I am going to spend on a new PC in the long run. There are going to be a lot of changes in the set up and a Pokemon shelf is also going to be added to hold all my figures that I am hoping to collect in 2025. I think that the PC set up could play a key part in 2025 if all goes to plan.
So there you have it those are my goals for here and the games room in 2025, I am really hoping that the year goes to plan and we can tick a lot of these goals off and have a huge comeback in 2025.
