Ah August a month of pure chaos, I have been lacking on the posts on here due to the fact we have been trying to get the house up to a decent standard for my birthday party on September 8th. I honestly can't wait to be at a stage where everything is done and I can just enjoy being in the house. So here are a few of my favourite things throughout August.
Film / TV
I finally sat and watched Indiana Jones and the temple of doom in August, I absolutely loved it. We just need to find time to sit and watch the rest of them now. In terms of TV I started watching Insatiable starring Debby Ryan, the show is a little controversial however, I am really enjoying it. YouTube has played a big part throughout the month and I have loved watching plenty of Minecraft videos.
Music
I saw Britney spears at last and WOW what an amazing night that was. I literally relived my childhood whilst there and had a fantastic night, I am so glad we got our hands on tickets. We have also had Halestorm's new album on repeat as it is just so good, Do Not Disturb is still a solid favourite for me.
Tech
In terms of tech, I only have the 2 favourites at the moment. I finally have my Amazon Alexa set up and it is brilliant, I am thinking of doing a full post on this so keep an eye out for that. It is just so nice been able to get info so quickly and not having to physically pick out a song to play. My other favourite has to be my iPhone, I used to say I was never going back to them and that all my phones would be Android but I am loving the quality of the camera, the feel of the phone and overall just how easy it is to use.
Gaming
In terms of gaming I haven't really had much time to get decent gaming sessions in, but when I have been gaming I have been cracking on with The Crew 2 or South Park the Fractured But Whole. I will be posting some first impressions on both these games very soon I just want to get a few more hours in on each of them first. But I have to say neither of the games have let me down.
Lifestyle
One big think I have definitely loved throughout August is the addition of the sofa bed to the games room. It is perfect for when I actually get chance to game and even for lounging in the games room watching YouTube. There has been a few nights where I have even found Liam asleep on it. The games room is coming along nicely too so we shouldn't be too far off getting that finished.
