2019 Goals

With us moving into our home and having work to do on the house in 2018 a lot of things got put on the back burner. Now that the majority of the house is done (as much as we can do for now) it means I have plenty more time to do other things in the new year. So here are my goals for 2019, lets see how much we can actually do....

Blog more

This is a big one for me as with moving the blog really did take a hit and I didn't post as much as I wanted to. This is because I didn't really have anything to write about, I wasn't using items to review and I wasn't gaming enough to get reviews on that either. However I have already started planning ideas for 2019 and I am excited to see how they turn out. I am also hoping there will be less shopping which would mean more time to work on content. Who knows having more time and actually planning things better may really give the blog the boost it needs.

Play more games

As I said above, my gaming time was seriously reduced due to decorating and needing to get jobs complete. However, as the work is done I will have more down time to actually play the games I own. With the addition of the gaming PC and Switch in 2018 I definitely have plenty of gaming to do.

Complete some of the backlog

I sat and looked at all my games the other day and it scares me the amount of money I have wasted on games I haven't even played yet, if I had waited to buy them I could have saved a fortune. The backlog is now seriously ridiculous so in 2019 I want to work my way through it, I aren't going to set a specific target but I do want to really make a dent in this. In fact I am going to try not to buy any new games until I have completed a lot of the ones I already own. I have a post coming up soon which will highlight some of the games I will be starting off with.

Work on my set up

There has been a few changes to my PC set up throughout 2018 but I really want to carry on working on it in 2019. I want some new gear for it and just want to make it look better, I will have a post up soon of how it is at the end of 2018 so we can see how it progresses in 2019. I am thinking some Razer or Corsair gear could be added.

A few other things I am aiming for in 2019 is to actually get a YouTube or Twitch up and running, this has been on the list for a while now but with the set up changing and me having more time I could finally make it possible. I also want to try meet up with some friends I have made on Twitter in 2019. There are so many people I talk to who I would love to actually meet up with so who knows that could actually happen. I would also like to do some more interviews on the blog along with some possible collaborations.

So there you have it those are a few of my 2019 goals.
