January 2023 Favourites

A lot of people usually say that January feels like it is taking forever and usually I would agree however, this year I really do think it has absolutely flown by. It has just passed by in the blink of an eye and I really hope that isn't a sign of how the year is going to go in general as I have so much planned but if every month is like January I have no chance of fitting it all into the year. It might have felt like a quick month but I have managed to find a few new favourites whilst also rediscovering old ones and here is what made the cut for the first favourites post of 2023...

Film & TV

911

I finished Blue Bloods and struggled for something new to watch for a while but then 911 popped up as a recommendation and it is safe to say I have found my new show to binge watch. I am on season 2 already and I only started it a few weeks ago, I just can't get enough of it. I have even had Liam sitting and watching a few episodes of this and although he hasn't said it he doesn't seem to mind watching it. I can see this being a show I end up binge watching just like Blue Bloods but I already don't want to get caught up and have to worry about what to watch next.

Music

Paramore

I spent a lot of January just sticking Paramore on repeat on Spotify. I have listened to their new song This is why far too many times already but it is all their old stuff I just can't get enough of. I am not sure if it is because I am off to see them in April or any other reason but I really can't get enough of their music once more and I really don't see it changing anytime soon.

Tech

Macbook

The Macbook has been a lifesaver lately thanks to how busy I have been. At times I have worried about falling behind on things however, all I have done is throw my Macbook in my bag and work on content in my lunch break, or just gone and sat around the house working on content whilst multitasking as usual. It is still a really fast device so I can get plenty done on the go and don't have to worry about it crashing or acting out. It has meant I am not as far behind as I originally thought and can keep on top of things even when life is absolutely chaotic.

Gaming

Soko Bunny

I don't think I have played a game before that has frustrated me so much whilst also been so enjoyable. I won this game in a giveaway and I had no idea what I was getting as I had never heard of it before but it is safe to say I am pleasantly surprised with the puzzle game even though it is something I would never usually play. There were points in the game where the controller was handed over to Liam but I wont say much more about it as I have a whole blog post coming up about it very soon so keep your eye out for that.

So there you have it those are my favourite things from the month of January. What have you been loving throughout the month?
